IMG_0632Lorraine Levine was born in Brooklyn, NY in the 1930s. Her no-nonsense Russian Jewish parents taught her to “live life to fullest or don’t live at all.” Growing up in the good old days of Brighton Beach, Lorraine took their advice and became Queen of the Boardwalk. By the time she turned 18, Lorraine was itching for adventure and moved to Alaska. One thing led to another and within no time she got hitched to her first husband, but it didn’t last, neither did the second, third, forth or fifth husbands. Lorraine’s philosophy on marriage is, “If it don’t work the first time do it again… and again, and again, and again.”

Currently, Lorraine lives in Lower Manhattan with her dog Molly. She’s the Mother-In-Residence of the area. She’s knows everyone’s business and dishes out advice whether people want it or not. She wakes early, walks her dog, reads all day, visits her friends and has a good laugh whenever she can. “If you can’t laugh, you might as well be dead.”

Along with a healthy diet, daily walks, a positive attitude and “a good lay when I can get one,” Lorraine stays sharp by keeping the TV off, the music on, and her mind open to new adventures, people, and whatever life offers. She believes, “If you don’t do it today, you might not be here tomorrow, so move your ass.”
